From the start of my architectural studies, I was deeply interested in how cities function as living systems: how policies, guidelines, and design shape the places we actually live in. Early on, I noticed something striking. The most celebrated urban design projects often seemed to come from abroad. Yet, I couldn't reconcile this with the fact that India, with its deep-rooted sustainable traditions, still grappled with immense urban challenges.

This curiosity led me to pursue a Master's in Urban Design, where I sought to understand systemic change. During my internship, a lightbulb moment struck. True impact happens when data, policy, and design work together, not in isolation. Reflecting on my earlier work, I realized how easy it is to lose sight of the bigger urban picture when focusing only on buildings or interiors.

That insight now guides my work at Parisar, where I focus on two areas: road safety design and sustainable urban transport. Beyond design, I'm drawn to psychology, sociology, and urban economics. These fields help me understand people and places more deeply.
